ACIS welcomes on a regular basis gliding clubs and individual soaring pilots coming for a few days, or a few weeks of soaring at Sisteron.

Many gliding clubs come to take advantage of the favorable meteorological conditions to be found here in early or late soaring season. Some come to experience and learn about mountain soaring, whilst others come back every year for soaring stays in the mountains.

ACIS welcomes with great pleasure organized groups (with management, instructors, autonomous pilots, and pilots in training and/or mountain flying students with their instructors) for stays at Sisteron. Group members, as ACIS members, may make full use of the facilities and airfield installations for their training and group activities (airfield, tugs, daily briefing and briefing room, pilot operations room…)

All ACIS member pilots wishing to fly gliders in the ACIS fleet will be authorized pursuant to a mandatory check-flight.
